Hey, it's me, Emily (not @natgeo like you probably thought at first) and I'm here with a remarkable specimen of creation: a bundle of massively over-grown artichoke blooms. These babies weigh about 10 pounds each and are so vibrant and strange. They made me think: one of the best/worst things about traveling is that you go home at the end, having been surprised all day long every day, your mind of opened wide, having been amazed so many times at the things you do not know and all you can do is sleep. Sweep sweet rest. --- But not yet. We have another week of travel ahead of us and I'm quite excited about this next part! We're driving through the Spanish countryside and I DO plan on stopping the car every 10 kilometers to take photos. // #thejeffordsgetaway
